Ryan’s NFL Picks (2020): Week Ten

Not the best week, but far, far from my worst. things are getting interesting now as the playoff picture is starting to take shape.

Ryan’s NFL Picks (2020): Week Ten

Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans: Tennessee Titans

A huge AFC South match-up kicks off our Sunday afternoon! As I’ve said all season long, I don’t believe in the Indianapolis Colts. This starts them down a rough second half of the season that includes five playoff hopefuls in eight games.

I think the Titans literally run all over the Colts and start to wrap up the division.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants: Philadelphia Eagles

I’m so tired of these NFC East match-ups. It seems like we have one every week. I’m picking the Eagles because I think they’re ultimately going to be the ones that slip into the playoffs, just like last season.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Green Bay Packers: Green Bay Packers

At this point, it would be detrimental for the Jaguars to start winning games.

Washington Football Team @ Detroit Lions: Washington Football Team

I don’t trust either of these teams, but at least the Washington Football Team has a respectable defense. Matt Patricia needs to be fired already, otherwise the Detroit Disaster might just keep on stuttering and suffering forever.

Houston Texans @ Cleveland Browns: Cleveland Browns

Speaking of franchises that need some serious leadership changes, the Houston Texans are a disaster this year. They’re wasting Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt, and I honestly think a Browns team that’s starting to get healthy tears them apart.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Assuming Antonio Brown hasn’t really poisoned this team, they should have no problem beating the Panthers. They won’t even have Christian McCaffrey on offense to give them headaches, after all.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Miami Dolphins: Miami Dolphins

This is a hot take, I know this, but I’m buying what the Dolphins are selling. I think they’re going to give the Bills a real run for the AFC East. Meanwhile the Chargers keep coming up an inch short, and while some call that bad luck, I’m starting to wonder if it isn’t bad coaching.

Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders: Las Vegas Raiders

On paper, there’s absolutely no reason why the Raiders shouldn’t be able to win this one handily. They are better across the board and the Broncos have done most of their best work in garbage time.

Having said that, bet it’s still a one score game late in the fourth.

Buffalo Bills @ Arizona Cardinals: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have stumbled over the last couple of weeks, but I still think they’re a very capable playoff team, and at home, they should be able to beat Buffalo. People are far too high on Buffalo beating Seattle like the depleted Seahawks secondary wasn’t playing cover zero the whole game.

San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints: New Orleans Saints

More like the San Francisco 24.5ers, am I right? Because half the team is hurt? Like they’re not themselves? Okay, fine, whatever, Saints win big.

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams: Seattle Seahawks

This is a toughie, and it could easily go either way. But I’m siding with the Seahawks here because they’re going to be desperate to get the taste of last week out of their mouths. They’ve had a rough few weeks, and something’s gotta give.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh Steelers

Sorry America, we have one more week of Steelers fans talking about how great their team is as they host a bad divisional opponent.

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots: Baltimore Ravens

They’re going to try and invoke the history of these two teams, but let me tell you, this game is going to be boring. Bill Belichick is burying his legacy with every week that he can’t put a respectable team on the field, and the Ravens continue to pad their win column with empty wins.

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears: Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota figured out that giving the ball to Dalvin Cook makes good things happen. How crazy is that? I bet they keep doing that, and then force Nick Foles to beat them.
